Hi there - M new to the site, but not to C-bodies, I had been going thru all kinds of various Mopar muscle, mostly 67-72s when I discovered this old 69 Imperial. It was a true basket case, needing just about everything. After sitting outside for a couple of years while I worked on other projects, I decided to sell it to a gentlemen in Chicago. The car was an Aquamarine color with matching interior, I loved it. I told myself if I ever ran across another one that was closer to being finished, I'ld buy it.
6 months later my friend Mark calls & says you better go to CL & type in 69. Lo & behold there is another one, a 69 Crown Coupe, with 69,000 miles for $6900. Well of course I had to go drive it & then buy it. The guys selling it had a father who passed away & he had 13 Imperials in various staes of renovation & I got one of the better ones. Here's my question - Does anyone know out of the 228-244 (depending on who says) crowns produced, how many were in this color combination? Thanks & I look forward to learning on this site, & from all the knowledgable members...

Welcome. Your Imperial is outstanding, absolutely love the color. Chrysler didn't keep color combination records, lets just say yours is a rare beauty.

Seems like everybody is joining FCBO Welcome your car is Gorgeous the blue is so so Beautiful post some interior pics if you can.

Beautiful car. Why do you have a 70 rear bumper? Is it a 69 with a 70 rear bumper or a 70 with a 69 front treatment? I've seen cases where a collision repair used not exactly correct year parts.

Just curious.

Welcome from Minnesota. That car looks outstanding! I'm no Imperial expert so I wouldn't know what year parts are on it, but I don't care, it looks great!

Welcome to the site from the Motor City! Beautiful car!! I think I would have had to buy it too! Let's hear some more details.

Answer..... No. The breakdown of color likely exists in a sales report or option report but may be only broken down by Imperial, not specific to Crowns and if it was it wouldnt be broken down by combination of colors but simply how many had a white vinyl top and how many were painted in Q4.

Welcome by the way, a gorgeous car like that quickly gets people to the "you suck list".

LMAO, well I certainly don"t want to be on the "U suck list" but I will say I love this car. Thanks for all the welcomes & the info on the number of Q4 cars. I will post interior pics when I get back to Lakewood. I had no idea it had a 1970 bumper, is it feasible it came like that because of a late production date?

Take pride not many people make the " u suck list " right from get go. Amazing car, more photo's when you can find the time.

Possible (Ma Mopar did a lot if weird crap like that around that era), but not likely.
I'm thinking it got a nice ding in it and the collision shop put in a new one.
Seen it done with bumpers, hoods, etc...

Pic of the fender tag would put that question to rest, but that's the most likely scenario. Anything could happen in 46 years, but a late model year production getting new model parts, unlikely.

Oh, and yes, stunning, stunning car, welcome!
