Do you presently have a clock that doesn't work? There are DIY quartz conversion kits available for that from Instrument Services Inc.

the problem with a quartz conversion is the sweep of the indicator is a noticeable 1 second increment. Sometimes noisy too. The original clock had a smooth uninterrupted sweep.
It's kind of an issue for us purest. But they do function well if that's not a problem.
There are folks who will rebuild your original, sometimes just a good clean and lube is all that's needed.
