Good god, i am impressed.
Nick definatly gets extra credit for outside in the snow, but Matt screwed up the grading curve for the rest us and our metal work LOL.
And I cried like a little girl about a stinkin 7" trunk patch. I am so ashamed that I want to delete that whole thread...
I know my limitations, I buy rust free
Nice work! Interesting how you replaced the rails and wheel houses, then removed the quarters. Keeps everything lined up I suppose.
Matt for the metal work and Julian for the detailing. What's that going to look like finished?
Wait till you see what I had to do to replace the cowl and A pillars all at once.
Take a ride to Detroit, Matt will have you out in 1/2 hr.
Damn I should have just dropped off the Sport Fury at Matt's place ..........
OH well the transport truck is only a phone call away ....... :3gears:
Bring it on but I just have to tell you I'm not cheap...ottytrain2:
Nice work Matt
Matt, Nothing worth having and done right is cheap !!!

Damn it all, Now I have to go make some phone calls !!! ops:
Do we get a FCBO member discount?? :toothy10:
Great work Matt!! She's really come a long way!
Not bad for a Hippy...
Here Are some pics as I prepared for the removal of the cowl.
And here's what a B body looks like without a cowl or A pillars.
This was what was underneath the A pillar and what would still be there if I didn't replace the whole hinge pillar.
And all that without any wood blocking ........ Amazing Matt !!!!!!!
I have come to the point (after 60 years) that I have to let someone do any and all bodywork for me. I'm great with wrenches.....not worth a damn with sandpaper and paint!
