In a similar vein to a couple other threads bouncing around, what would be your big 3 dream list? That is, GM, Ford(or lincoln ect.), and Mopar? I know it a c-body forum but were off topic, remember? And many of you are/were into something else.

Mine is:

GM: 1969 ZL1 Corvette, 1 of 3, OR 1973 454 4WD 3/4 ton Suburban

Ford: 1929 Tudor Sedan, chopped, channeled, with an old school banger and a miller OHC conversion

Mopar: 1967 Hemi Charger OR 1971 Newport 4 door sedan

I relized 3 cars may not be enough... feel free to go for a perfect 10 car garage... im already halfway there

There would be almost nothing but Mopars and there would be nothing but Mopars before I'd even think of anything else .. probably would run out of room first

Im thinking of a car for everything, cruising, stip car, race car, off-roader, daily driver, tow rig ect.

Granted it could be all mopar and more power to you

I've got two of my 10:

1965 Chrysler 300 Convertible:

1964 Pontiac GTO, Tri Power, 4 Speed:

On the list are (in no particular order):

1969 Pontiac Trans Am RAIV, 4 Speed
1960 Chrysler 300F Hardtop or Convertible
1957 Chrysler 300C Hardtop or Convertible
1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429
1958 Dodge Custom Royal D500S Convertible
1969 Dodge Charger 440 6 Pack, 4 Speed
1967 Chevy Corvette, 427 Tri Power, 4 Speed
1932 Ford Roadster, Flathead V8

Ok 10 isn't NEARLY enough, but I've got it narrowed down to

1)Daily Driver:1975 AMC Pacer with a Cummins 4BT swap
2)Drag Car:1972 Plymouth Duster with Indy Legend 605 Hemi
3)Autocross/Road course:1970 Dodge Challenger T/A
4)Cruiser:1971 Chrysler Newport 4-Door
5)Winter Beater:1967 Cadillac Eldorado with Custom Bedliner "Paint"
6)Off Road:1973 3/4 ton Suburban
7)Ultra Rare/Investment:1929 Miller 91 Supercharged Rear Drive Formula
8)Hot Rod:1929 Ford Tudor Sedan
9)Custom/Lowrider:1949 Hudson Hornet
10)Landspeed:1970 Chevy Corvette ZL1

#1. Boss 429, black
#2. 68 Charger. My favorite tail panel/taillights of the Chargers.
#3. 71 Cuda, plum, white guts, white billboards, and shaker.

No need to list details......It would be all Mopars for me, except for one GM machine only. 66' Olds Toro.

I have a stack of notebooks under the bed, all full of parts lists for cars id like to build. I blame ADD... and Hot Rod magazine

In no particular order:

'32 Ford 5-Window Coupe (Chrysler 392 Hemi Powered)
'68 Mustang Fast Back CobraJet w/a C-6 Automatic
'65 Chrysler 300-L 4-speed Convertible

BTW, the correct abbreviation for et cetera is etc. - not ect.

I like the 429 and cobra jet mustangs, but I'd have to go for Cougar instead. But I usally get told my taste in cars is weird... for instance, if I HAD to drive a mustang itd be a 1973 gt ala Gone in 60 Seconds, my Camaro would be an 80 z28 and I pine for a 1963 impala 409 Lightweight drag package car. with bench seats. But you probably guessed that when a pacer was listed for a daily driver

What engine is in the goat? is it a 455 or a 421 or.. um, 389? all my Pontiac knowledge is pre-62:sSig_thanks:

and im guessing but would that flathead have, by any chance, 3 strombergs?

The Goat is an original 389 Tri Power, 4 Speed but the original motor is long gone. It's got a '68 400, .030 over, a little bigger cam, roller rockers and #64 heads. It lays a substantial amount of rubber through 2nd, chirping into 3rd. It's a kick in the ***.

As for the '32 on my list, aren't multiple carbs better?

I need to add one to the list and I can't believe I forgot it because it is one of my all time favorite cars: 1961 Pontiac Ventura Bubble Top, Tri Power, 4 Speed.

see this is my problem... I want it all... and Kudos on the GTO not being all original, I bet its more fun this way
