Hey all,

I'm still dinking around with this leaking power steering return line fitting but I see no reason for it to do so. The fitting and o-rings are new and the mating surface is clean and blemish free. Is there a standard length that I could've screwed up some of internal mojo with by cutting it too short? I know it's low pressure but dang. I'm about to go crazy with the RTV otherwise and I'm sure that will be not good.

The originals were molded hoses. Very hard to find NOS. Parts houses now sell you Power Steering Hydraulic Fluid rated hose. I believe it's 5/8ths inner diametre. DON'T use heater hose, as it will leak. Use good quality worm gear clamps, and position the clamp as close to the bump on the end of the fitting as you can.
