Selector bushing

I have a 727a transmission the selector bushing is gone I’m looking for the bushing any help would be great on part number or any thing

There is no bushing there. It used a wavy spring washer on each side, and the clip has a spring action to it also.

Hi Stu, Do not know about 1968, but 1970 Fury has a copper bushing between rod to the trans and steering column lever. Flat washer both sides of bushing. Edited. Sorry, the pics are for the lever off the steering column. If you have that much looseness at the lever off the trans, the lever may be bunged out. My 1970 Fury does not have a bushing at that lever.

That copper bushing is at the top linkage that connects to the column, it goes inside the rubber bushing.

He is working at the transmission end where the linkage connects to the transmission lever.
 
Follow the number on the illustration to the part name and description section.
Washer in illustration is 19-48-1

Go to section 19-48 and find the number.
In this case the p/n for the two washers are 631217. Clip is 6025071.
Likely the washers could be found at a good hardware store. No bushing for ‘68.
