HaHa, many thanks. The final test will be when I fire her up though....still waiting for a new valley pan from summit to show up.......ugh.

I have to agree ...... If you don't replace the cam now it won't be long and you'll be doing the job again. And the material that is missing from that lifter is still in the engine somewhere.
