Hi there, for your viewing pleasure, I am planning to post the s(t)ub frame project and other resto tasks for my 66 Polara 880 rag top.

Very nice. I'm doing the same job on my '68 Fury. The subframes look almost identical.

Being new here, can you give me some background? What is it you are trying to accomplish with the sub-frame project? Repair or enhancement?

Its a stock 2bbl.

Its a repair of a very rusty sub frame.

Here's a few more of the right side sub-frame. This is nasty!!
The bumper brackets need some TLC where they bolted up to the frame as well..
I also kind of like the bold look of no fenders
