WHAT ? Another 61 Fury restroation......

I'm in Gulf Shores after leaving Ocala. I'll take Connie home to winterize and store after Thanksgiving, then come Back for t he winter.
My body guy sent some pictures of the freshly painted dash and kick panels. Looks like a dead on match.

Will, are you going to have this car done in time for Carlisle???

:):):):)

I just took the passenger horn off mine and put the bolt back with the horn and put it with the other horn. I did some sanding on the core support. There are times I wish I grabbed the '61 from out west in stead I would not have to worry about the car cancer because there would be none. ( it was the black and white car)

I visited Virgil this afternoon. Coming along nicely but a long ways to go yet. I brought the newly painted dash parts home to reassemble once i return home from Gulf Shores.
I also replaced the padding under the dash pad. Used a section of vinyl top padding my trimmer had laying around. Worked perfect. Using a piece of scrap interior vinyl, my painter was able to obtain a exact color match on his state of the art, computerized Gucchi color scanner equipment. Once the formula is converted to mar hide he can paint the dash pad to match the interior panels.
