I went to visit a friend who was in town and got to check out his dad's latest toys. First up, a 2013 60th anniversary Corvette. 427 cubic inch engine 6 speed transmission, convertible, and some carbon fiber parts. Pretty cool car he picked up last August. He would have gotten the lastest generation model, but the new ones don't fit him, he's a smaller guy, so he got his one. 1 of 700 made. I sat in it, and that felt nice with the wheel a comfortable distance and the shift knob right there in your hand.

Moving on to something I will never be able to physically touch another one to in my lifetime, a 2015 Ferrari California T. I had heard he got a Ferrari but didn't know the model, then I recognized the front end when I walked into the garage. It looks fast sitting still. 550hp and it sounds badass when he revved it up. I couldn't get my video working quick enough to capture it though. Apparently they don't let you test drive the cars when they are for sale, so he bought it so he could drive it. Sat in the previous owners garage for 2 years with only 1800 miles when he sold it. My friends dad put another 700 since getting it in February. It gets attention when he brings it out. I was lucky enough to sit in it, it was raining so I didn't get to ride in it. Maybe next time. When he got it, he let his family members take it out for some drives. His mechanic brother in law gave it his seal of approval.

Almost the same color as this car i sold yesterday......who knows what car this is...?!

I am so ignorant when it comes to Sports car knowledge and I am just fine with that.

You know the difference between a Corvette and a porcupine?...

A porcupine has the pricks on the outside... :)

Shouldn't be so quick to judge.

Didn't mean it that way - it is just nice to be able to have those kinds of cars when most of us here at least struggle to get our old wrecks. I really do wish him well since that is what he enjoys!! My comment on the joke wasn't directed at him either. I just know the mindset of many regarding Corvette owners, but I don't share it.
Thanks for the many photos by the way.

Gotcha. Joke on Vette owners I even chuckled at.
