torsion bars for 1961 seneca

Hello newbie here - 1st post and thanks for being here. I have taken over a resto-mod 61 seneca - it had 225 six with 3 sp manual but now has a 98 ram 1500 5.2l with overdrive auto trans. The original torsion springs are still on and inadequate to say the least. What springs can i use to refit for the extra weight?

......... first off, I assume your talking about the torsion "bars". Just about any bars from a V8 powered car, or a station wagon of the era will work for you.
Try posting over at the "Forward Look" site. Theres guys over there that will know that plus may have what you need.

hmmm...was it something I said? Well I posted over at Foward Look forum, just checked and after a cpl of days and after 70-some views, nary a comment. I'm no expert on these forums or suspensions, I'm just trying to help a friend and neighbor with his project. This is one unique resto-mod seneca...one of a kind and I am uploading some pics on Saturday 10.1.2016. I know it needs V-8 torsion bars, but would like to know what to look out for when dismantling, and then on the re-mantle. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

You need to locate and buy a FSM, (factory service manual). The procedure is laid out there. They can be found on ebay and several literature dealers are reproducing them, both on paper and CD's.
