She made it big without me. So did Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, and a ton of other women I put up here I don't really follow (not my generation) but are Mega-stars today.
I am the last person on the planet to follow avant garde/edgy fashion, so I don't get her style sense. She's out there even with little-to-the-imagination "cheesecake" stuff .. trying to prove she has real lady parts I guess.
Again, fans and followers are thrilled and outraged at times by her changing looks I read.
No, I am not in her fan club, but the woman has earned her performance chops with her fans. I recognize talent though (body of work, commercial success, etc.,), but I still only know name of one song she ever made/wrote.
She starred in A Star in Born with Bradley Cooper. Fourth making of that movie. Their duet, co-written by Gaga, won Academy Award for Best Original Song. Cooper did his own singing. I like that song and they did great on it.
My kids reminded me she did Super Bowl halftime a few years back (I never watch the halftime show, my kids never watch the game). She also did something for the latest Top Gun movie.

Mega, A-lister? Dunno. Global star? Absolutely.
I always liked her, my kids liked her in things I don't watch. Seems to do her job well, stay out of trouble, and spend a lot of her money on charitable causes.
I knew her instantly from this photo at about age thirteen. At nearly 40, her face is very recognizable to me.

Well, I was under the rock until I cheated. Apparently I've seen a movie she was in. There was some great Keith Richards impersonations in that film.
