1972 Imperial Revival Thread

I painted and mounted the rear alternator mount. The car came with spares of everything. I still need to find one more bolt to hold it to the head. I have no ETA for the alternator returning.

The recored radiator is back in. I hope to sneak the fan and shroud in behind it. I will be installing a Flow-Kooler water pump and a new thermostat to keep the 440 cool.

So I let the engine run a little longer. Now I have the mother of all rear main leaks. I think I can repair it in-car I don’t want to pull the engine, especially since I miraculously have a full charge of R-12 after 52 years.

These are considerably brighter than the old sealed beams. They are plug-and-play. I chose the classic white color.
