Anyone ever put a ls lsx in a c body

I decided a bluesmobile should have a 440.
I even toyed around about a stroked 400 to 499.

But decided that to stay true to the car and movie that I needed an actual 440.
Damn no turbo lsx on someone else's dime. Start a thread we will follow.

got a pic?

Now that we're friends again and you're a super smart car guy, maybe you can help me figure out what's wrong with cyl #5?

Spark plug loose?

OP, depending on what year and application that 440 was, you're probably looking at a great motor to throw a couple ebay turbos on. Jake and Elwood would be proud.

Its a 1973 motorhome engine with some later heads on it.
Going to do a leakdown test then change the oil pan over and check it out to see if anythings done to it or its stock.

Then decide what way im headed.
Ps i would leakdown check number five unless you already found the problem.Lol

Stan......it couldn't be any better. LT1, nice big spot between the seats for a mobile entertainment center.
Seriously though, body looks rust free for a MD car.
