Congrats Stan!!! :icon_thumright: Beautiful car! It's about damn time something like this came your way! You have been looking for a while.

The car looks somewhat familiar from the FL craigslist. I can't place when, and where though. Sad story, but she is in the right hands. Drive the piss out of her! I hope too see it in person someday! Maybe introduce the blumo to your fleet. :occasion14:

sharp car, congrats. in a way you may have helped the previous owner through his grief by giving the car a new home. he sold it because he wanted to. the car was probably a constant reminder of the loss of his wife. enjoy your new car. you can make your own memories while revisiting your younger days. doesn't get any better than that.

Congrats Stan!!!

It's in my garage now so I can say I found it using a CL search engine. And to my shock it was on the Lakeland CL. And when I then read that it was in Haines City, I crapped my pants. Bing. Bang. Boom!

You should buy that $1K convert for the 4 speed parts Stan!
Last week I sold my engine hoist, engine stand, and transmission jack for the sole reason that I would not be led unto temptation. I have found a new religion, Church of the Been There Done That Never Again. It's time to now enjoy them, not obsess over them.

The "stance" is perfect, as Dave already said. It ain't broken...
Replace the one RWL tire with a black wall, clean up the black steelies, and figure out where to get 4 dog dishes for the 14" wheels. Even baby moons, maybe. Who knows...
Any suggestions on what commonly availabe poverty caps will fit? I don't care if they aren't "correct".

Its perfect just the way it is although there does seem to be a slight "rake" or maybe I'm imagining it.

Nope. You're not imagining it, It does have a very slight rake, Exactly the way I would have it if it didn't already.

congrats Stan !
How good is the body?
The Miami cars I have seen are usually bad rustbuckets.
Checked out a 68 GTX once and itr was rusted really in every piece of metal

Congrats again Stan! Good looking car! I don't like the tires, but the rest is Eye Candy. Was that your cane on the first pictures in the other thread?

Chris has got your caps, those are perfect!
