Auto Body Panels & Rust Repair Panels -Classic 2 Current Fabrication

About Us

Classic 2 Current Fabrication was founded by two brothers who shared an interest in classic auto parts. They used to attend local and state swap meets on the weekends just as a recreational get away, but they soon got more involved in the events by becoming vendors. After years of purchasing and selling NOS and rebuilt engine parts, the brothers noticed that the market had a shortage of rust repair body panels. They seized the opportunity by purchasing a variety of rust repair parts and selling them at the meets.

Because they were from the Motor City, the heart of the automotive industry, the brothers were able to easily find rare cars that did not have parts available on the market and then have them manufactured by some of the local parts manufacturers. Over the years the number of items grew as well as the demand for new product, so they formed Classic 2 Current Fabrication. At first, they sold their products strictly to the parts vendors who in turn would retail it to their customers. However, the price for each panel was very expensive for the end user, so they decided to manufacture the product themselves and sell it directly to the consumer at a much lower price.

After years of being in business, Classic 2 Current Fabrication is still committed to offering high quality rust repair auto body parts at affordable prices. They understand what it means to restore a car that has been passed down through your family or simply building the car of your dreams. They are honored that you have selected them as your source for those hard to find body panels, and will work hard to be the ones who help you put the finishing touches on your car.

About Our Products

The parts listed on our website are partial, slip-on or rust repair panels; not complete OEM style parts. These parts are manufactured using many machine processes and are made using at least 20 gauge coated automotive steel; although all floor pans, trunk pans and inner rocker panels are made from 18 gauge for extra durability.

We are the only source for most of what is listed on our site, and we guarantee the satisfaction of the fitting with minimum professional alterations. If you need any parts that we do not currently list, feel free to contact us and we’ll see about making the part that you need. Please note that we would need the original body part or a template of it.

We have discussed it ad nauseam.

It's junk. I bought some floor panels for my 53 Windsor from them. Pretty much high school shop sheet metal work.

About 2 weeks ago I sent AMD an e mail asking if they had plans to make any C body metal. I sent them pics of cars I had cut up & told them of certain parts I felt was a big need. They said absolutely no plans to produce C body parts. They said there was not enough demand. They where polite & understanding of the need , but didn't want to take on the expense of tooling up. The C to C parts are thick & basically the right size just not formed correctly.

I do know the C2C parts are cut, bent, rolled, and punched, but NOT STAMPED.
Therefor useless for major body panels such as rear quarters.
AMD stamps their panels likethe factory did.
