Not sure how many folks are interested in getting their original clock working (if it's inop), but I put a webpage together of how I did the deed for my '66 Fury clock. I'm thinking most all clocks in our 60's cars came from Borg and they probably used the same internal mechanism for the most part. Anyhoo, here is a link if you're interested. The job took me 2 or 3 hours.

Fantastic! Thanks for posting this. My dash clock hasn't worked for 20 years and I've been putting off tinkering with it. Seems manageable now based on your guide.
 
On my list of things to do, thanks for the article. Maybe next winter.
 
Did your walkthrough, but still not working. You guys know where I can get the parts to convert it to modern quartz. I think the seloniod is shot in mine. Hook power to it and nothing happens!
