1969 Chrysler Imperial
I Love Lucy's car?
.....
"A '69 Imperial LeBaron Coupe. Owned since 1980. Garaged since 1985. Last driven in 1991 to Helena and back to Billings. Pretty much loaded except for sunroof, rear air. Color is silver (it is Navaho beige, I believe), with Black leather power buckets. Had I think 95-98k miles in 8/1980, now about 102k (est). Have not sat in it for probably 15-20 years. Have not started since 1991 trip probably. Original selling Dealer was Prince Chrysler, Pasadena. CA. West Coast Promo office. Original owner was Desi-Lu Productions. Many other hard to remember details. Repainted about 1976 in Billings, MT, about the time the car moved from California to Montana (approx) "

Current pics of this one would be an asset. Sitting since 91 wonder if the 440 is seized? The Desilu connection would have to verified.

The Desi-Lu connection wouldn't make it worth 1 dollar more to me.
The pics are ancient.
He's not helping his own cause in getting it sold.
I would like to see it, tho.

Kinda strange trying to sell something based on what it looked like @ 45 years ago.

His arithmetic seems off but if it sat since 91 and is buried in storage, it should look as it did. My dreams are filled of finding a car buried after a 25 plus year hibernation. AND that's how I want to find it, under dust and behind boxes

So I guess the car was originally silver but repainted now in navajo beige? I would return it to silver. While I like beige on cars, I don't like it mixed with a black roof and interior. It might be a very interesting find. They were the best model year imperials ever in the styling department for me.
