Delco and Autolite starters the same? 57 Belvedere 301

My Starter is an Autolite 6001 and needs a "Bendix"starter drive assembly. I just ordered one that is a Delco starter drive. Is this the same part with a different brand name? Will it fit my Autolite starter? Happy New year everyone!

Is the drive you purchased for a Delco starter or for the Autolite? Do you have the part number?

Alot of the delco was made by prestolite/autolite.

# 1933791 is what is on it's way. He showed me a pic and it looks identical so I guess I'm gong to find out. My Starter is Autolite 6001​

I think you are set, I looked it up on Rock Auto and the drive they list has a cross reference and your number is listed
