I was at Wrigley Field yesterday for the 6 to 1 win by the Cubs over the Reds.
When Wayne Messmer sang the National Anthem at the beginning of the game, I think everyone was standing. Makes me proud to be an American.

Wayne Messmer was a power house voice at the Madhouse on Madison before his mugging...I think Jim Cornelison filled in his shoes very admirably.

Both Blackhawk Greats always sang the National Anthem PROPERLY.

I see a tsunami building throughout sports because of Kaepernick. Being tone death isn't going to cut it anymore. I know the Warriors are going to being doing something now even though many don't like them either. Watch the Seahawks-49ers at the start this weekend.

While I don't agree with how he is handling his protest I do think it will bring this issue to light. I think most people have a problem because it's the flag and national anthem and see it as un-American. I agree the nation needs to look at how police deal with all citizens.

I am a white man and never had to deal with the issues that affect other races. I worked side by side with many men of different races when I was Airforce and I can say it's sad that people stereotype because of race. The typical they are lazy. I found there are good and bad with any race you can't judge just by race. I have worked with and for some outstanding men and there were some white guy's I would never work with because of their work ethic.

I guess I just don't understand why people have such a problem with others that are different from themselves. I try to look at the individual not the color of their skin. My rant is over.
