Strange ( empty ) second fendertag....what,s the story/meaning of that tag...?
1972 DODGE CORONET
It is not completely blank. My guess is that the inverted "P" and maybe the "H" were both inspection marks. Each inspector had his own unique mark so if the vehicle had some obvious defect on delivery, they could track who screwed up.
I like the slant 6 and the 3 on the tree.
The H and the flipped P indicate that this is an ultra-rare car and bidding will reach $1.9M at Mecum or Barrett this year.
Typical inspection punches for 1972 Lynch Road.
Somebody did their job, inspected something and punched the tag.
This car is really cool and love the /6 with 3 on the column!!! This deserves to be seen.
