A lot of those cars are wormanz. He's not stupid about grabbing cars that can become high dollar rides.
I have it on my DVR, I watch them, but don't worry when I don't pay attention. I just wish I had a shop, that's what I think when I watch th show.
As for Alyssa, she dumped Josh, no big story there. Fired him and the other clown.

I like the Mopar theme, I can deal with the numbers game, I would have to superglue Worman's *** to the toilet seat and kick some serious *** in that shop to get anyone to get a little work done. I'll admit, I haven't watched in a year or more... I don't see any of the camera regulars being very productive, just the painter before he became a show regular (or was that a different painter that was useful?).
I understand this isn't flat rate, but those people are ridiculously inefficient on air. I have harbored a theory that all the real work is done by someone else off camera.

I can't stand most of those shows either... every time some moron paints over nice wood or brick to "update" something just kills me.
My best advice is don't watch GYC it the show bothers you that much. Last I checked...there isn't any other show dedicated to restoring Mopars.
FWIW... I like this show WAY better than all those idiots in Texas...
My wife frequently watches those home shows .... I don't watch but the voices still get under my skin.

I like the show better than most things on TV. At least they're attempting to restore and it's all Mopar. Most car shows are all about restomod or total customization and many are Ford/Chevy almost exclusively. I hate when they take a relatively unique or rare car and swap everything out, chop it up, etc....
Having said that, it's tough to stomach Worman's stupidity and unfounded arrogance. I know, the entertainment industry is looking for someone who's a dip **** because that brings in the ratings. That's the reason for the ridiculous number of "reality?" shows on TV, very low production costs, high return on investment but I don't know who watches all that crap.
One last rant, the reason I say they're attempting to restore the cars is that I saw an episode recently and Worman was talking about the correct restoration of a 70 Challenger he just finished while they were showing a close up of an Edlebrock Eliminator carb sitting on the 440 Magnum.
He has addressed issues like that from time to time. He said he does whatever the customer wants done to his car. Some customers insist that they have headers or they want an Eddie intake and carb or a Holley. He has stated several times that he wouldn't mod the cars if it was up to him but he said the customer is always right and he does what the customer wants.
I still have 3-5 doctor appointments weekly and every waiting room in Maryland has the DIY channel on and some of the most annoying shows on it. I just tune the noise right out and don't even hear it anymore.
I can't help but hear the annoying " all new light fiXtures"

I don't mind it. My wife watches the mysteries, they're actually not bad. Lots of eye candy too. Besides, she puts up with watching F1 with me.

I would watch that, even better if you could add some color commentary as to what the other drivers are doing wrong. Not that we can't see for ourselves, it's just the standard format we are accustomed to.
