Great venus car-show in Motown...

Attendance was great for a 1st-year show. Looking to bump up the car count for this year. Last year was a majority of mopars, and I'd like to see that trend continue. Joe Pappas and Dick Oldfield will have the "wire-car" on display at this years event. There is room for probably 300 cars, total...so, get your application in. It's a beautiful venue, and interest has been early this year. All makes.

Please contact the above info, for registry. They need an approx. head-count for supplies and food, etc. This is right on Lake St.Clair, in a beautiful park.

I was planning on taking the Challenger to this but it seems to have developed a nasty leak in the brake booster so the Imperial will be returning this year.

I'd like to thank those who attended, on a gloriously beautiful day. Great turnout[up 50%], and had a great time checking out the beautiful rides and chatting with folks. So relaxed a setting and show. It doesn't get much better.

I'm not sure Bob. I didn't get a chance to talk to the owner but I'm guessing it's restored as I can't imagine a car could could be in that condition after 57 years unless it were sitting in a museum. Anything is possible though.
This '26 won best Mopar and the owner also has a very nice '68 Imperial convertible that he bought from the same guy I got my '67 from.
