Last week Saturday I was available to finally purchase a dream car for me GY9 71 Sport Fury GT. Still has the original 440 and transmission has a Sure grip also it's a buckets console car with rear defrost. Windshield area needs work and the front floors also luckily the front stub is super solid the car's rear area needs work also luckily I was able to get a parts car that will help the restoration out greatly. And a good friend of mine has the twin to this car in Nevada and he also gave me the lead on this GT. I can't thank him enough for his help!!!

You have your work cut out for you but I know you will do a great job! Glad the engine checked out..

I remember the days when I would have been ecstatic to find my dream car regardless of condition. Now, all I wanna do is buy a can of wax for it.
I'm glad you guys have the passion for this stuff.

It was a little ruffer then I was expecting but I looked at it as when will another one come up I couldn't pass on it. And the part's car has everything for it.

Nice find, what do you think the large Quonset buildings in the back round are for?
All storage 2k for a hole year i wanted to know what was in the rest of them for sure. The guy I bought the car from had 3 car's in the building.

Maybe I'm in the minority but I think the darker metallic colors like GY9 look great on the C-bodies and it will look even better on a GT with the white stripes. Look forward to seeing how the project progresses.

You helped me get one of my dream cars Manny so I would be pleased to help you with what you might need for yours now. We can start with some console pieces and go from there. I will never forget the help you gave me when I needed it a couple years ago now (triple black 71 300 coupe).

All the best with your new SFGT and keep us posted along the way. You have the drive needed to get it done. That is essential.

Couldn't be happier for you!
