Looking under the car and see the bushing completely worn/dried out. Is it the idler arm, or the pitmann arm? Located on the front right side.

Pitman arm attaches to the bottom of the steering gear (driver's side). Idler arm attaches to the rh side of the stubframe. Does need a new boot, though.

You can get a replacement boot if it is still ok.

I was wondering if I could just replace the boot. There is no damage to the arm itself that I can see.

A true barn find in great condition that had been stored in a metal garage with a collect of other cars.
When I purchased it had 17,713 miles. Today it has 17,729 have put 16 miles on it since I purchased it.

Interestingly, the work history since 9/2010 (with receipts) shows:

9/14/2010
17,219 miles
- oil change at WalMart
- parked in the metal garage;

11/29/2011
17,414 miles
- two wheel alignment done at Aiken Discount Tire, inc.
parked again;

12/7/2015
Mileage not recorded
- New muffler
parked. Not driven again until sold by the estate.
