Guys,
So I bought a Continental lower radiator hose for my NYer from Rock Auto. It is somewhere around 1-1/2" too short. So, I ordered a Dayco from the local Auto Zone. Compared the two, exact same hose. I don't want to put a flex hose on it.

Rock Auto has a Gates and a ACDELCO that are both listed as cut to length. The ACDELCO is listed at nearly 18" verses the 15" that the Continental is said to be.

What do you guys buy?

This is frustrating...

Thanks

Well, I picked up the Gates hose last night. I put it on tonight. I ended up trimming about 1/2" off of the end that goes on the water pump so that it would line up a little better.

Here's a picture of the three hoses. The top one is the Continental (same as a Dayco) [about 2" too short, middle is the one I took off, bottom is the Gates hose that I trimmed to fit.

So, if you need to replace your lower hose get the Gates or ACDELCO hoses that say trim to length.
