Normal engine temp for 67 383 newport

What should be normal engine temp be on a 383
93 deg day with a/c
i was running 210 hwy speed and 220 and climbing at idle
that seemed too hot to me
i have a180 deg thermostat

They get pretty hot at that speed

Sounds pretty hot but you might want to check it with one of those infrared thingys to see if the gauge is accurate

he radiator was fixed and cleaned 6 mo ago

Could be the fan clutch also.....

Could be a collapsed radiator hose..... ect ect ect.

no one has indicated what the normal temp should be.
lower hose has spring
radiator 6 mo ago cleaned
thermostat 180 deg

That all doesnt matter. A thermostat can stick. A radiator can get a restriction. 180 thermostats start to open at 180. They fully open at 195. Every situation is different. We are not standing in front of your car. We don't know what has, or hasn't been done........
