Our wheels crack from sitting in the elements for years. Our cars dont do that anymore

Explain the NOS wheel sitting on the shelf out of the elements that's cracked.

You never know what various places the part was stored, high temperature differences, humidity etc.
When it comes to windshield/rear window rubber for non glued in glass the old NOS stuff I used was always superior to repops for example.
