Thought I'd pass this along for those who keep the original radios in their cars. I tend to stay away from too much modifications however, when I found an OEM AM/FM radio for my 68 Fury it came with the rear speaker fader control and factory wiring harness back to the rear speaker so I installed it. The front dash speaker is still the original and sounds pretty good for nearly 50 years old. For the rear speaker I tried a newer 6x9 but it sounded very tinny. Then I found this, S&M Electro-Tech out of Blain, MN, that makes reproduction OEM style speakers. I installed it with a foam baffle I got on ebay and it sounds as good as the front with plenty of bass tone. Mine was $50 +shipping, came with the fabric cover and the male/female connectors.

Yup - I've used their products several times and highly recommend them.

All his speakers have the proper ohmage so you don't hurt your radio and have good tone.

Owner is a nice guy and good to deal with. I had a return and there was no quibble whatsoever.
