So I bought this one today.

Wanted to verify that there wasn’t another reason that I had no headlights or taillights so I plugged in the rebuilt switches and viola!

A couple of before pics, Notice how the original clear coat appears blistered. The last pic is after a quick strip and first coat of poly.

FYI, I have a resource here in Ontario that rebuilds Imperial healight switches.
Between 125.00 150.00 CDN
The 67/68 Imps are prime candidates I recommend using a headlight harness with relays to protect your rebuild headlight investment,LOL!!

We have a great resource for rebuilding switches here too, including dimmers. Should I mention him again? Ok I will... @Devinism .:D
The relays are a good idea for sure, is your resource for those Rob Yule?

Nope. The Putco H4 harness is available on Amazon.
Locally I get them through my work's job supplier.
Sold and intalled tons of them. No issues and the relays are cheap and easy to get.

Very cool car. I wonder how nice the paint will buff out? Trunk lid looks promising.

Wow.And the paint looks like it just needs a good detailing, just a thin coat of film.I like these slab sided Imps.I like the bid eagle in the rear bumper.Good luck.B.B
