About three days ago I came across a Portland OR Craigslist post 68 2 door New Yorker being sold at a car auction that was taking place in Tacoma today and tomorrow. They only had two pictures of the car and zero written information about the car.

I called them at least 6 times trying to get more information beyond the two pictures to no avail.

It sold for the grand total of $950. In some ways it makes me sick , but with so many unanswered questions. I wasn't willing to make the jump. I wouldn't be surprised to see it up for sale again soon.

This auction was a bit crazy. I sat by the computer for three hours contemplating what to do. Not knowing if it ran or if the rest of the car was in as nice of condition I refrained from bidding. i think I have another car lined up to look at next weekend possibly.

Some cool stuff on there.

I think I owned one of these when I was a lot younger.

You'll have to watch tomorrow to see what the vega fetches.

My older brother actual knew LeMay who accumulated most of the old cars that are being sold at no reserve. The problem was I didn't find out about this quick enough to be able to have him check it out for me.
