Tried to recruit a new member today

I met a fellow and his wife today, and invited them to join our little party. They have lots of questions. I told them about our esteemed members with vast knowledge. Let's hope I was right.
They just purchased a restored 63 300 Pace Car convertible like this one.

Well, it would seem he did not join. They bought this car at an auction and immediately had buyer's remorse. He was trying to unload it and recoup his "investment ". I don't recall his purchase price, but from what I can recall, I thought it was high. If he managed to sell it, I am sure he took a loss.
