So I know im going to get some **** for this, but here goes.
I've always been in love with wire wheels...with or without knockoffs, doesnt matter.
NOW, im not talking about 13" daytons or those stupid-*** donk hood-rat wheels.
REAL wire wheels. Like Borrani wires. the kind that Ferrari used in the 60's. Consequently, those are the ones that made me fall in love with wire wheels in general.
example...James Colburn's California Spyder or the one in Ferris Bueller's day off (the license plate on the Ferris car always cracked me up-IL Plate NRVOUS)...
But I digress...so I am possibly looking to get some wire wheels for the Newport.
Only if they are classy a la late 50's Chryslers/Cadillacs.
I assume Im probably going to have to change the spindle or get some sort of adapter?
What else would I have to do?
Now, if it doesnt look classy or if it's a huge PITA (which im thinking it may be) Ill scratch the idea.
thanks
Mario
