That's what I have been doing today, getting rest laying in bed.

unfortunately no one in my area touches, let alone messes with chrysler C bodies.

No, this school did not teach me anything of the "old" tech like gapping and setting points.

I self taught it to myself.

Thought I should give an update after tinkering and testing with the 2 barrel linkage that goes to the kickdown lever.

Decided that a kit (Lokar, or a 4 barrel linkage) was not necessary in my case and I just needed to follow the diagram on the 64' FSM.

Used the edelbrock AT extension bar, held the throttle to WOT then slid the throttle linkage forward, gave some slack near the kickdown lever just enough to put it at rest when throttle was at idle.

Also the kickdown lever was pulled forward before tightening the adjustment.

Tightened down the adjusting nut on the throttle linkage.

Shift point is a little higher than stock, and the "shift feel" is a bit on the soft side. "Shifts are less jerky then when the 2 barrel was on"

Moved the throttle return spring and the bracket to the front of the carburetor, behind the A/C compressor.

I decided to mimick how the AFB linkage was mounted using the 64' FSM layout.
Not different at all while using an AVS.
(AFB on the FSM was using the same throttle linkage)

Car sounds great with the 4 barrels opening up, sounds just like the Quadrajets and Thermoquads.
