New dog!

I think the coolest name for her would be "MOPAR".

Congrats Matt.

I've met Dusie......and kept me at bay until Matt showed me what gentle giant Dusie was.

I understand you holding off. Will she be registered? In the event that she is lucky enough to come into your family..maybe Hannah and it means gift from God in Hebrew

Agreed Stan picked up this rescue plot hound mix after our boarder collie mix got hit, the rescue has a lot of behavioral issues does not like me at all or any men for that matter, had to put him on zanex to calm him down so he would not hurt himself. He loves my son and wife its a shame somebody messed him up this bad, its a long process but he will come around I think.

She wouldn't be registered as she wouldn't be a show dog and I'm sure mom and dad aren't registered either. I'm hoping this one works out for us, she's adorable and I agree no matter what that she deserves a good home and will get one if its not us. The other pups in the litter are going fast if there not all spoken for already.

A year ago we rescued a Golden Lab / Shar Pei , He had some issues for a while that we worked with, I would not give him up for anything........... He is so lovable, loyal & protective, **** I'm worried my fiance is gonna dump me for him !!!! OH WELL,,,,,,, I will still have my Sport Fury Vert.. :eek:ccasion14:

You dont have a choice Matt........she's counting on you now.......

A year ago we rescued what we thought to be a "mostly" yellow lab, turned out he had Parvo. The hospital wanted $3,500. with no guarantees . We were able to save him with the help of a local shelter donating the meds, my middle daughter slept with him for a week, giving him his shots and keeping him fed and hydrated......

Everyone, meet Norris

Nice doggie!!!!

Thanks for saving him!

Wow! I rescued 2 cats (kittens) a year ago from Harford County Humane Society they were going to have to be put down because they had too many. I went and looked at the dogs while I was waiting for the adoption to be finished and 99 percent of the dogs were abused pit bulls.

I am not a fan of those dogs........ not because of the reputation, I am just not a terrier kind of person..... The shelters are full of them here too, Gee, I wonder why?

Most of the dogs I seen at the shelter that day had signs on the cages that said don't touch or cross the yellow line because they were aggressive and will bite.

I now have even a deeper respect for all of you. Let me speak for all those rescues: THANK YOU FOR GIVING ME A LOVING HOME!
