1- ‘69 Road Runner tips(currently on it)
2- stock turn downs
3-Hurst/Sport Fury tips- challenger style

I think the only C Bodies to use the challenger style tips were the SFGT and the Hurst cars (Challenger tips are different than the stock SFGT/Hurst tip) Stock downturns would be correct for this application.

I'll be the odd man out and say the Roadrunner tips probably look pretty good, but so will the stock downturns.

Your car, your choice... Whatever looks good to you.

Here's my vote. I found a good shop to remove the goofy, incorrect tips from my car and make these for me to my exacting specifications.....after quizzing C-Bod for the proper look and for good example photos. C-bod did not disappoint. :thankyou:

I would have to agree with the stock turn downs. It always looked good if they are the right length and positioned correctly.

Don't forget you can use YouTube to see and hear what a big block Mopar with specific mufflers sounds like by others people experience.

I showed a pick of the NOS pipes i picked up that i am going to use - it seems turn downs are the way to go. They do have resonators on them (i think they are '68 tailpipes) but will work- maybe just make it a bit more mellow
