What's going on for your Thanksgiving??

Anyone ever fry a turkey? I've never had the desire to, honestly. After a buddy burned his garage down several years ago when he tried to fry one that was still partially frozen (!), it's never been a desire to fry a turkey.

We have done a few. They always turn out well. There are a few key rules. 1) thaw the turkey, 2) cook in an open area away from everything (driveway works well for us). Also, just for safe practice, we like to shut off the flame and let the oil cool for about a minute before slowly lowering the turkey. Then fire it back up and go

Heading to our Daughter's home in Clovis (Fresno area) on Tuesday. Going to babysit our grandson Preston on Wednesday. Might be a little weird as his daddy works from home. Hmmmm..... He might not want to stay with us in the front room.

Our son and his girlfriend will be coming from LA Wednesday evening to be with us on Thanksgiving.

We are going to have a pre-cooked, smoked turkey from JD Food, whom our Daughter works for.

Going to my brother in laws, not sure how many will be there and don't care if it's more than the governor thinks we should have.
