Wow, a 4 spd wagon, you don't see to many of these, nice score!

That thing is bad to the bone. Too bad the original owner cheaped out & didn't spring for the auto.... ;)

lmfao. here is the story i got before i bought it. it was ordered from a guy to tow his trailer. the gas crunch came in 70 or 71 and the wagon was parked. it apparently sat under a carport for 35 years. the speedo shows less than 10 k and i believe it to be true.before i pulled the motor and trans i moved it around and put about 3 tenths of a mile on the speedo. the rear drums have never been turned and the shoes appear to be original. the front disc brake rotors have never been turned and the brake pads are like new. the car is complete. even the 440 hood ornament and commando emblems. the original fender tag and i found the original broadcast sheet in the back seat. that was a bonus considering the interior is pretty much toast. will keep u guys up to date. thanks for the interest

That's incredible, love a survivor like that. You will never see another like it.

i have the original wheels and hubcaps as well. i was thinking of pimping it out and putting 20 inch wheels on it and air bagging it and doing the woodward cruise and maybe chopping the top a little. whadda ya think?

I know you're kidding, besides the Chrysler wagons are better for those types of mods!

My New Yorker sat outside in Pennsylvania for 30 years. 41,000 miles on it when I got it.

Think you've been reading too many posts by Stormer....:)

That wagon has been around a number of years now. I can kind of remember when it first came up for sale.....Dusty and dirty. Then some guy bought it and put a little time into detailing it a bit...mostly the dash pieces I think. I haven't seen it for a few years....glad it's got a new home. Hope you bring this one back to it's former glory...a factory 440/4spd wagon is ultra Uber cool!!!
