I would be thrilled if someone can decide this fender tag
Thanks

It's a decent car for its age.
Yes I am proud owner and a c body addict with a problem.
I'm not in love with the color. Original yellow.
I have been looking at it in the rear view mirror for several hours and here is my plan.
It has black top and black interior. The thought of a triple black 66 c body has me pitching a tent

Looks to be a very nice car but I am prejudiced. You can tell it’s been repainted just sitting there as there are some quick giveaways. Things like the door spears put on an angle when they should be stacked evenly, the sport fury emblems should be in front of the tire not in the rear, trim and pentastar are missing as well and lastly the fender tag has screws in it. If you aren’t worried about 100% stock no problem.
By the way I like the all black theme.
More pictures required.

There is a few other quirks. Moron installed hood mounted turn signal lights, hood ornament delete.
When I mention all black , that kinda shows what my views are towards bone stock. I will say if there is any bondo on its dam little and its razor sharp down the sides.
I appreciate a 100% stock and original car. But wouldn't really want one . I would be scared all the time it was on the road. But that's just me

You can tell that this car was painted by a unique individual. I am going to guess that the fender tag was removed to color coordinate the engine bay. Quite likely the screws were put in a place were they wouldn't get lost, or were thrown in the pile and lost. Then its "use what you have on hand"
I didn't buy it because I wanted a perfect original car. I drive my cars and the driver quality cars are more fun for me. I have gravel roads, and most paved roads around here are in rough shape
The vin plate is intact, complete with the J for engine

I hear you. This year I have decided to simply drive and enjoy mine more. I am one of those who worries too much about even getting the car dirty.

I tip my hat to car owners that have the time and energy to keep the car or cars shined up. It takes dedication.

Thanks
Yes it has a rear speaker.
I have been awful busy since I got the fury home. Planting time.
I can see the pain job was done a long time ago. I expect the owner at the time was going for a custom look. He did some shaving, shaved the side trim, shaved the hood ornament. Plus as been mentioned he redecorated the door trim and relocated the sport fury chrome.
Luckily no shaving took place on the interior.
I have a pale yellow 66 monaco and must say that I am swayed towards yellow

For 1966 Canadian Monaco and Sport Fury -

P1X is for black cloth & vinyl buckets on Monaco and Sport Fury hardtop models. N/A on Monaco or Sport Fury convertibles.

P4- is for vinyl bucket seats (Monaco and Sport Fury) in blue, red, black or gold.

Pretty sure it has 3.55 ratio. Would have been one nasty ***** in early 1966. Might still be.
Lots of little things needing fixed but it's pretty solid
