66 300 wheels & tyres

Hi

Please could some one guide me in the right direction:
What would be the largest 15" wheel i could fit to my car without getting rubbing issues etc
ie 15 x 8 or 15 x 10 also what would be the best tyre size please?

Don't know the answer, but I would think 15x10 would be too wide.

You can do 15x8's no problem just make sure you have 4 or 4.25 inch backspacing.
On your 66 300 the best fitment preferred is 2357015 on a 15x7 rim.
Alternate fatter tyres would bee 2556015 best on the 8 inch rims.

I fit 15x8 with 4.5 backspacing and 11.5" x 26 x 15 hoosier QTP bias ply tires on my car.
