Another orphan found our driveway...

My buddy has been taking his sweet time with the truck. I’ve almost forgot we had it lol.

It is on the lift though, finally. I took a minute last night, and got the belly painted, and undercoated, After applying a coat of ospho first. So nice to do it on the lift vs. the ground!

Can see those terrible trans cooler lines!! They are being replaced with heavy duty hydraulic lines made up for it.

The old girl is finally home! She has quite a different temperament now lol. No more trans puddles in the driveway. My buddy also played with the injection pump. She has a good bit more get up, and go!

She was pretty nasty, and needed a bath after sitting out in the dirt the last several weeks. She got one this morning, before going out for some running around.

LOL

Sabrina, and I just finished an online shopping spree for her tonight. She has a ton of new goodies coming for her this week. Some of which include a new hitch, trailer brake controller, some more sem paint for the interior, and other pieces to restore the interior. Also have a whole new sound system coming to go in. The hole in the dash is getting a little old!

What's that black stuff coming out of the exhaust???? Your buddy must have cranked up the fuel with the pump mod's

Got out of work early today. Took advantage of the time. Packages have been trickling in all week.

Check out these bad boys! NOS armrests! They showed up today. Got em painted, and luckily theu dried quick enough to install.

Picked up some new plastic for behind the door panels, and got the panels installed. Also got the “new” center console installed. Man! So fancy!

We picked up another dash bezal at the FL mopar show, as the current one has holes for aftermarket gauges. Sabrina wanted woodgrain to match the other dash trim piece. I wanted to paint it for durability, but the boss has spoken lol. Not bad for a cheap 3m vinyl decal, and a chrome trim pen from inline tube off ebay. I’m actually pretty impressed with the chrome pen! Hopefully the decal will last a bit in the hot FL climate. Time will tell....

You sir are a man of many talents... looks great.

Well thank you! I try. It could have come out a lot better though. I don’t really have the steady hands for this kind of stuff...

Todays show is brought to you by, “You son of a b!tch!”. lol

How fun!!

Todays progress.

Top of dash got a fresh coat of paint. Installed the “new” dash pad, glove box, and gauge cluster. In the beginning process of getting the head unit installed.

Found out all the instrument cluster light socket tabs are broken. The reason for no interior lights.....

#1 - shouldn't your woodgrain be horizontal instead of vertical :poke:
#2 - why is there a load of stuff on the hood of the Monaco?

I know. I went owwffff when I pulled the decal out of the box. Just the way it was cut. Didnt have enough material to lay it horizontal. Oh well...

Monaco makes a decent catch all while working on the truck!

I’m pretty happy how she’s come out. Hard to tell all the differences in the pics. But damn, she’s looking good! Just need to run the speaker wires, and mount the speakers. Also need to run the amp wires, and get the sub installed.

Here’s a before shot from when we first got her. Can’t really see all the cracks in the dash in this pic though...

Zac, you've done some incredible work on this truck. It leaves me with one question. What are the plans for the steering wheel?
View attachment 174553

Thanks!

I’ve got another wheel refurbished, waiting to go in. Also have new turnsignal pieces to go in, as the stalk doesn’t stay locked in on the right anymore. Want to pull the column for a refresh, and paint. Do it all at once.
