Insured all year here in southern Ontario. If roads are bone dry I sneak both of mine out even if it's -15 C. Most Januarys and Februarys only get out once or twice.

Oklahoma has ice season - one month, from mid-Jan to mid-Feb. The rest of the year is good to go - no need for long-term storage here!

The closest we ever get to snow is maybe two or three times a year on top of an old volcano, Mt Diablo at 3,849 feet.
