Sub Frame Connectors

Mine are also welded to the rear, bolted to the front.
The car feels very tight vs before, for instance, when pulling in a gas station driveway off camber.

This came up just at the right time!
I have been thinking the connectors for my -67 Imperial due the change from ht to convertible. The body would be much too "elastic" without any added support under the floor.
Now i just need to copy your solution.:thankyou:

I don´t know if Chrysler has made any changes on body between the ht´s and convertibles? If not, these should be added to any convertible..
The rockers are much thicker on a convertible.

Bumping this one back up, have been considering doing subframe connectors on mine. I assume the aftermarket hasn't made a C-body subframe connector yet?

Bigasawhale, in your design did you use those 3 bolts to go up through the floor as well or is it just to connect the two pieces of subframe connector to each other?

I did not through the floor.. I made a nut assy and welded into the upper rail - so tube is linked together.
Going thru the stiffening ribs - might work (forget where they lay across)
Straight thru the floor sheet metal, i would back up with a plate in interior.
