Congrats! That's a beautiful car. That's great that he has the skirts too. Many cars, mine included, the skirts were taken off at one point and lost. I've got replacements now.

I'm looking forward to reading about your adventure. When I'd go get a car long distance I always referred to it as "going on an adventure" too.
 
I gotta disagree with Bob, give it the truck driver inspection let it run for 5-10min, white lights facing forward red ones facing rearward, nothing pouring out from underneath jump in and drive home. Good luck.

Dave: I gotta admit. . . That is pretty much gonna be my approach.
 
The one in the vid has no dual snorkel air cleaner the TNT should have. Don't think that's the same car, also seems to be all restored.
