The only Thing with this application that could be a bit of a PITA might be Long term cleaning. My guess is dirt, especially such as exhaust fumes will be pretty hard to clean out completely out of this structure over time. Maybe a toothbrush will help :)

Great colour choice and honestly surprised at how good it looks. You could complete a military look by adding some insignia (probably the wrong shade of green).

Its a shade “too” green for military, but as stan posted, could pull off the woods service truck lol. Honestly in person it looks like one of those toy soldiers pieces. The real small plastic ones lol.

Idk if I’ll put trim back on or not yet. I atleast need a 4x4 sticker or something on the rear bed panels to break up the green a little.

Yes it will be a bit more of a pain. I’m hoping that ceramic coating will do the trick. This stuff gets great reviews on google, and drys clear. Planning on getting some.

The SEM trim paint also came in. Looks pretty good! Just like OE.

I wanna see that Zack. Lemme know when you work your way down to 600 grit and start with the polishing wheel, lol... ... I'll fly in ... Think they'll let me on the plane with ah couple cases of St. Pauli?

Come on down! Just put the St. Paulis in the belly of the plane lol. Think it will be a while till 600 grit though...

She almost looks like a truck again. Front bumper has been fighting me, but so far I’m winning. Just need to get the top cover on. Some of the aftermarket stuff fits great, others need a little persuasion....

They do sell the stuff in FL... you don't need to import the supply... :poke:

But where is the fun in that??...

Well, it took some motivation, but she is moving under power again, and ready to go. Still have a few things to do.... Third brake light should be here tomorrow. Ordered new emblems 2 weeks ago, but the wrong ones showed up. New ones should be in the mail. Also need to get a couple wheel well liners from a buddy of mine. Going to do that here in a min. on her test voyage.

Bought a brand new bumper cover, and during installing, guess where it broke? The same GD places as the original one. So much for that... its not coming back off for a while. A new/different bumper will go on when this one comes off.

She is looking good though. Could have done some better body work around that big dent in the cab, but oh well....

Excuse the smoke... she was a bit cold! Also think its time for a set of injectors. Oh boy! Tranny breaking time lmao.

The batteries were also not happy. Might be time for a new set of those as well. Has to steal the battery out of the 1500 to get her going.

Thanks guys!

We had hopes the new garage would yield more C body repairs...

Don’t worry its coming. The white car with a hole in the roof isn’t gonna fix itself unfortunately... I’ve been waiting and watching for it, but no deal. Bastard!

Truck has been back in service this week, doing good. I missed driving it. Still have a few things coming for it.

The new emblems finally showed up, along with the 3rd brake light. Also picked up some window vents for it.

What do you guys think about some fender flares on it??
