:(

HA! Feel lucky as they plan on putting 3,000+ homes on this clearing next to a couple of thousand 55+ "Margaritaville" idiots. They're already complaining about the traffic out that way. It's even worse further south down I-95 by the county line.

Come back to Google Earth in a year or two and see what it looks like.

He told me I was here first & he had no problem with my collection & gave me two of his cards & told me to call him if I had any concerns. .

It's not him you need to be concerned about, it's the new owners.

We had a new house build right beside us many years ago & the first thing the new owner did was to get a local business that has diesel trucks shut down that parked his trucks on his brothers hobby farm for many years without issue.
Then he turned his attentions to me claiming i wasn't caring for my yard properly.
Wanted the creek between us cleared of all debris & brush & we should have reinforced the banks with rocks to prevent it eroding his property. (It was on protected natural environment zone so duh...)
The bugger hadn't even moved in yet! Loud cars or bikes had to go in their minds
"He wasn't going to put up with that ****" was his quote to me & I rode a Goldwing. one of the quietest bikes on the road!
I dug around too and found this guy & his wife did this everywhere they moved.
I happened to be on the market at the time so I didn't have to deal much with this turdhole long...

Well came home to this. The guy on the excavator said all the trees will be gone by tomorrow afternoon & then he will start on the burm. He said it would be 3 to 4 foot high & then the privacy fence atop that. He also said there was 9 sub divisions being built in Youngsville. I’m aware of 6. He said one has 500 lots in it & should be building houses in it by August. It’s kinda sad. I had it made out here. Surrounded by woods. The spot he is clearing is where deer would lay down & sleep. Some time just at day break if I carefully walked back there I would see 4 or 5 lying in the tall grass. In the evening between 5 pm & dark if I walked behind my shop there would often be a few back there & they would walk to the adjacent lot. Anyway it will all be gone soon. They can build there damn fence now so they dont have to see me.

They left one tree near the corner. The guy started on a drainage pipe but he would work 10 minutes & stop & get on his phone for 10. After about a hour of watching I got bored & went inside. I’ll see how the drainage pipe looks when it gets day.

Ha Ha, love it! Not a "Sidewalk Superintendent" but a 'Backyard Quarterback'!

If'a ya don't have back porch ya need to build one. A rocking chair and a 12 gauge lean'in on the wall will really help along the sales ya think?

Maybe check to see if their burm infriges on your property line and more importantly if it affects water drainage from your property.

Animal migration paths too. Think they need to put a stop on the whole project to do a study on if it affects something along that line. 'wink wink nudge nudge' I can see if I can make some Florida Gopher Tortoises magically appear up'dare. That'll put a halt to the whole shebang!
