At first glance, I thought @1970FuryConv made the trek!

This car sounded nice! A lot more attitude than I was expecting, and it's not bad to look at, either.

Class winner from last year.

And then there was this wagon. It's been lowered recently, has 95% of it's original paint, 440, gets driven, he loves the car. He's a friend of a FABO member and came down from Central Minnesota. They are a fun bunch to hang out with, and I got to hang out near by after the show, and talk shop and enjoy some cold frosty beverages. Fun was had by all.

The hostess commented, "We have the coolest house in the neighborhood!" I'd agree! Two more A bodies in the garage. I had a great day overall.

Wish I had been there to enjoy those frosty beverages with you guys!
Love GY8 Gold

Also like the painted black top, 2-tone, with vinyl top trim still in place. Extremely cool!

This car is cool too. Got any more info? Are those stock rims?

Another year another good show, wish I had my c body's there, but there was no shortage of nice looking ones there. Here was my favorite

@LocuMob
Thanks for posting this pic. I always wondered what a '73 Fury would look like without those hideous tits! First time I've ever seen one with them removed.

Looks great!

Great photos guys, thanks for sharing them.

Here are a couple of trucks. I am liking the early 60’s to early 70’s look, but a few earlier versions in here as well
My Favorite was the black ‘62 Fargo

Scott @LocuMob or anyone. Do you think the Mystic Lake Casino grounds or Canterbury Park space could ever be a location for Mopars in the Park in the future? More room for our C bodies or? No mud roads...lodging slam dunk. Drinking. Restaurants. Valley Fair for the kidders.
More Pros and cons.

Any other pics of the black ‘67 Crown Coupe?
Sadly, no. I got there just before 3:00, so I got what pictures I could of the class, and had to boogie through the rest of what little I saw. As soon as I went away, I remembered you picked up your '64. Sorry, my game was really off. @HWYCRZR commented on a lot of closed hoods this year. :poke:

Canterbury Park might do, but aren't the horses running by then? One thing about a fairground layout, is you have the buildings to house the more valuable/rare cars out of harm's way. That is one thing I think they have got to love since moving out of Raceway Park. Biggest complaints I heard were, the dirt road needs to be paved (yeah, sure) and there is a lot of walking involved to get from the show field, to the swap meet, as there is an arena that is fenced off that's in the way. I got around to most of the grounds, just not the swap meet.

You just want to be able to bring the whole fleet, don't you?

Agree. The buildings are probably a must have for the show. There is plenty of room at the new location. They just need to flip the specific location of a couple of classes.

I don’t know the layout of the other venues but I hate shows this time of year on pavement. Fairgrounds have grass and usually some shade.

The new location seems larger than Farmington. Larger facilities means the show is growing. That’s good.

You have to do a lot of walking at either place. At Farmington, the C bodies were a long way from the parking as well some other classes yet the I don’t feel like I did any more walking on the new grounds than before. Large shows require walking. That’s just part of the gig. Carlisle is huge yet, people seem to make it ok.

That's why I enter my car, so I don't have to walk so far. :poke: That's seriously the main reason I put a car in the show, I've got great parking!
