Hello,

I just bought my first MOPAR this past week. 67 Sport Fury. 383 4BBL. Car and interior are in great shape. I will be needing to rebuild the front end. Where do you recommend I go to find parts economically?

Previously I owned a Cutlass convertable and was able to get anything I needed from Original Parts Group. I understand that there is not a specific catalogue for us C body owners.

Thanks.

The all in one kits are basic parts on some, and better parts on others. One of the biggest things is whether your 67 fury is factory disc brakes, or factory drum brake. The factory disc are a 4 bolt lower ball joint. They run around 400 a piece rebuilt. The factory drum brake are around 100 each new.

Thanks! It's in really nice shape. All original metal. No bondo. Rare for a care in Western New York.

I found it on Craigslist 2 weeks ago. The owner had it for nine years and put only 2k miles on it. He has a 67 Belvedere that he's restoring now.

It it came with build sheet, original owners manual and aluminu dealer card (if that's what it's called) on radiator housing.

All original interior no rips. Buckets with console too.

Welcome aboard! That's an awesome looking car! I love it, the color and the options you listed, I'd be happy as a pig in ****! I used PST for my 66 Polara and I was happy. Please post more pics of the car, that jumped up my favorite list instantly!

Here are a few more pics of my 67 Sport Fury.

Factory Tach, Console, Bucket Seats, Rear Window Vent and Fan.
383 4 Bbl. Original Numbers Matching H engine.

Only needs a few things, Front end is loose and needs rebuild. Missing 3 trunk plugs. Getting new tires this week as the ones on the car are dry rotting (got a flat last week). The spare tire is the original (I think) bias ply BF Goodrich.

Welcome to the site from the Motor City! Nice car, great score!

I agree with you. I've never been partial to vinyl tops on the Sport Fury. I think the top takes away from the lines of the car and becomes the focal point.

As for the rust issues, I went to look at a VIP Fast Top last month in Rochester, NY and it no longer had the vinyl top. It looked great until I saw the horrible job someone did to try to repair the rust damage around the rear window. The rest of the car was great but the poor repair of the rear window was a deal breaker.

The good news was that car only had the 318. I was able to find this one 2 weeks later. The body is as strong (without the bad repair job) and has the 383 4 barrell. And it was $2500 less. Some things are meant to be.

Welcome to the forum Walter, that is a very nice car for sure. Also PST is a good quality kit and will do the job, there may be a discount for mentioning FCBO? I'm not sure, I seem to remember something.
