I agree, it's all about it looking good. If I do end up painting them gray and it looks like ****,.I'll strip the paint off. I do agree if you are doing a restore, then yes chrome bumpers are the way to go,.but in my case, my car is not stock and that's the way I like it/wanted it. I wanted the car to have a hotrod feel/look to it and it does. I like totally restored cars too, but 9 out of 10 times they are garage/shows queens and that's cool if you're into that. I want to be able to jump in my car, hear the cam, hit the pedal and know there is serious horse power under the hood that will dust most new cars on the street and the best thing about it!!,..it's a C Body. It's just something Ive always went for when building cars. I like nasty! The nastier the better. When I whack the pedal to the floor doing 40/45 and bring the shifter down to first and she jumps and the shift light pops on at 5800/6000 and I hit second it's a feeling that is so exciting to me. I just love this ****!
I'll post some pics after I paint the rear bumper and you guys can let me know if ya's like it or not.
