revisit Carb issue

Oh, Marian, wait. Stan is curious, too. You should rethink this. :p

Don't worry. Only had 1/2 gallon of vinegar and I'm to sick to go out to get more. Only a quarter of the carb is being soaked. Talked to a guy in La Porte Tx that will rebuild it, if I need. But, it's a good trial and error project. Couldn't hurt anything.

Great, I look forward to the results! I hope this will work, because when, this will be one of the first things i'll do when the car is here ;)

Get better soon.:getwell:

I think there is an improvement. Remember, I only had the bottom part submerged. I'll get more vinegar and a brush tomorrow. It ain't happening tonight. Sorry.20140304_175921.jpg20140304_175910.jpg20140304_175902.jpg20140304_175842.jpg

Hey Marian how long did you soak it for? I know Stan said two days so i'm curious to see how long it took to show that improvement.

I think I have heard that formula before might have been here. I have a avs I am going to try that on. Now take it back to first guy, then tell nope you had your chance.

She's been going bonkers trying to keep it as original as possible, I can't see her wanting to slide on this one.

I went to the store and got 3 gallons of vinegar. Forgot the lemon juice. I discovered that the previous vinegar was 5%, this is 96% used for pickeling. Or however you spell it. I'll dump out the other stuff and use this new stuff.
